Notes[]

After defeating Trunt Harval this ship will become available for purchase at Katashán Station in Paréah System.

Note: A glitch occurred while using the U'tool built into the ship, causing the game to crash. This has been fixed in the latest update. The U'tool bug of the Specter doesn't work in this ship.

The Scimitar is the powerful gunship of Trunt Harval having high armor and lots of equipment slots (effectively 16 if the integrated U'tool is factored in). But it has a low cargo hold, and only 3 primary weapons slots and 2 secondary weapon slots, plus a lower than average handling. This makes it a more of a scout/reconnaissance ship type, rather than a combat ship. It also doubles as a great piece in the player's collection.

Trivia[]

  • A scimitar is a short sword with a curved blade that broadens toward the point, which really makes the shape of the wings have a resemblance to a sword.
  • Although it is Trunt Harval's ship, it is much weaker than the Black Guard's Specter in-game, as he usually watches the battle. This, however, only applies when the usable versions' stats are compared to. In-game, Harval's Scimitar is far stronger compared to common Black Guard ships.
  • In Star Wars, Darth Maul also has a ship named the Scimitar which also has a cloaking device.
  • In Star Trek: Nemesis, Praetor Shinzon has a warbird called the Scimitar, which also has a cloaking device and takes a very similar shape.
    • The Scimitar is thus most likely a reference to them.
  • The Scimitar has two primary weapon pods under the cockpit, however, only one could function.
  • Although, it is black with neon green lights just like a typical Vossk ship, but however, it should never be confused as one.
