I edited the Magnetar page and posted pictures in the gallery but they didn't count towards the Cormorant achievement. Don't pictures in slideshows and galleries count?
I am deeply sorry that I have been gone so long, but I am back and ready to rock. As to the DEEP wiki. I have been doing research to gather information on the game as my computer refuses to run it.
Glad to have you back, we have some new admins, and we revamped the forums, some minor stuff on the main page and some other stuff around the wiki while you were away.
Its okay, everyone needs to take a break for studying/work/etc... from time to time.
I look forward to seeing the DEEP wiki when it is completed.
Hi, I recently uploaded a profile picture for my user page. Though I am able to see it on my profile page I can't see it on the leaderboards page. Is it a glitch in the wiki?
Uggut, the founder of this wiki, has not been active for several years. I then requested to "adopt" this wiki, to have one active administrator
Godelieve Yvormes, the first admin after me to be appointed, went inactive in January of this year, attempts have been made to contact this admin without reply. (note: occupation is listed as student, so examns and such could have distracted the admin from the wiki.)
Tarantulakid96, helps with the design of the main page and other areas of the wiki, as well as being knowledgeable in the creation of items to make a wiki more user friendly.
He was the founder of the wiki, so we can't really "replace" him, for the other users, if they apply on the nomination thread, they will be considered for the position, but as of now, neither has applied.
What's the point in having an inactive Admin? You said you cannot "replace" him, so it would make sense to make him "honorary", so other, active users (like those I recommended) could apply for the freed-up spot.
You have a point there. I remember we already discussed this once and decided to try and fill the planet pages with as much info as possible. The problem is, there just isn't much information that's really characteristic for any given planet. Not enough at least to warrant a separate page which does not overlap in it's majority with the other planets in the system.
Maybe we should put up this question on the Overhaul and Deletion Board.
You could post on the forums under the "General Discussion" thread, or contact some of the other admins, to see if they write any FanFic, because I don't write any FanFic myself, sorry.
Hey, does the Wiki ever change it's looks? I was thinking, the background is a little outdated, perhaps the colour scheme could be altered slightly... What do you [all] think? Or do I just sound like an annoying newbie? ;)
Looks darker to me... What do you guys think about the same shade that on the GOF2 logo? Or the futuristic green on the GOF3D logo? I'll change it quickly to test it, then I'll revert.
It does :P is there any way we can use the gof2 font as out font? Make comments and message walls look like when someone's talking to you? It would make the wiki look epic.
Ha, that reminds me of my own experiments on the german wiki. I finally went with the shade of blue from the logo. Unfortunately the GoF2 logo, being semi-transparent comes over kind of purplish when seen against the light gray background. The nearest I can make it is: #8BA7F3

That would be awesome, but I'm pretty sure it would be impossible unless we got Wikia's design team involved...maybe impossible even then.

Right, I need 3 or more "+1 Overhaul"'s to change the scheme, and one of them must be an admin. If it's a no, explain why and/or give another set of colours.

The font is Xirod (http://www.dafont.com/xirod.font), but some of the letters are flipped and such (EDIT: It appears that Fishlabs may use the "old" version of the font, but I have a game-correct version on my computer as well). It would be hard to read on the wiki, as capital letters and lowercase letters are mostly the same. Also, I don't know who has ownership of the font from the game, whether it be Fishlabs or the owner of the font above, so it would be a ToU issue. Also, I don't even know if we could code the wiki to use this font as its not preloaded onto Wikia.
As for the "New Look" I think the current background grey could be the same/slightly darker with the same transparency. The blue looks really odd right now, I like the 3rd (bottom) of the three you posted on the "comparison" reply. I'm working on getting a GoFA logo to possibly replace the GoF2 one that is currently our wiki's logo.
I'm currently testing a new logo for the wiki, the icon from GoFA. It will go through several stages, but before I proceed, do you guys like this one, or should we go back to the GoF2 logo?
Hey Namj, when I go to delete offensive comments, the 'popup' states that I'm about to delete a page. Will this actually delete the page, or is "page" code for whatever I'm deleting?
Hey, I checked the Decimus page and it seems that the picture given on that page is not of Decimus (the station is of a completely different planet). The planet Decimus has a pinkish color, while the planet given in the picture is earth like. I noticed this happening at other planet pages too. Either there has been a major error in posting the pictures or someone has (for fun) exchanged the pictures of different planet pages. Something has to be done about this. I could do something about it but I don't want to unnecessarily worsen things so I have come to you!
I'm quite confused by this. I posted the original pictures, but I'm concerned that I uploaded most of them in error, as I uploaded a large amount of files at once...
I checked the original files, and they all have generic names (IMG_1001), meaning that I misnamed them during the upload, good god this is going to be hard to fix.
Hi,
What I assume you are referring to, is when you have ship x, lets say a rhino, and you look in the store, and ship y, lets say the Betty and it has a negative price. This means your current ship value is higher than that of the ship that is selected, so they reimburse you for the difference in price.
I'm sorry you must think I'm incredibly annoying bombarding you with questions but would you mind giving me a list of planets with blueprints or hidden systems coords on them? If its already on the wiki could you just link me to it?
Ha, haven't seen that one before. Looks like a ship trapped inside the station with only the mounted turret showing on the outside. Maybe a pilot playing it super save... :)
