The Groza is a commonly found Terran Federation ship. It is average in most respects, with a relatively large cargo hold.

In-Game Description (GoF2)Edit

The Groza may not look like much, but it is a well-equipped and very dangerous ship. The large cargo space makes it a common choice among trigger-happy traders.

In-Game Description (GoF3)Edit

A well-equipped and sturdy workhorse of a ship. It is often used as a cargo vessel, but can be converted into a decent fighter. This makes it a popular choice among traders who think of themselves as hot shots. Or space jockeys that can’t afford anything better or sleeker. A good choice, all things considered. The name is also fun to say.

Characteristics Edit

The Groza in GOF2 is a very practical ship and is what you call a "jack of all trades, but master of none." The Groza is perfect for players that can't afford an expensive ship, but doesn't want a ship that's obsolete or limited in ability. The Groza is very useful for someone intending to make money as a trader and be carrying around a lot of equipment or commodities, but do not want to sacrifice combat ability for a more dedicated trading ship, such as the Cormorant. It is also quite useful for players trying to make some quick credits and beat the campaign fast.

If you have around 260,000, there is no better choice, but don't expect the Groza to last until endgame, where 4 primary weapons are needed to dish out as much damage as possible.

The Groza in GOF3 is the beginner's ship, and it has been redesigned to resemble GOF2's Inflict. It's decently fast, and has a more powerful Gr'Gath Pirate variant available to purchase.

TriviaEdit

  • "Groza" (Гроза) means "Thunderstorm" in Russian language.
  • "Groza" means "Terror" in Polish language.
  • The Groza MK II is a modified version of this ship that is better. However It can only be bought at the Kaamo Club.
  • The Groza is one of only four ships that appear in both GOF2 and GOF3.
  • The Groza is the Terran's Mk II Fighter in Galaxy on Fire Alliances.
