Kappa is a watery planet located in the Union System. It has a Terran station and jumpgate in orbit. It is average for weapons and equipment and useless for pirate hunters.

- Kappa is the planet where DEEP: Submarine Odyssey, another Fishlabs game, takes place.
- Kappa is the only planet appearing both in Galaxy on Fire 3D and Galaxy on Fire 2.
- In DEEP Kappa is under Terrans' control. In Galaxy on Fire it belongs to the Vossk Empire. In Galaxy on Fire 2 it is under Terrans' control again. This change in ownership is likely due to the Terran-Vossk War
