In-Game Description

This ship is often used to transport expensive goods or important politicians. It has a large cargo space and can handle itself when it comes to combat.

Characteristics

The Anaan is a behemoth of a ship, having low maneuverability and the second largest cargo space in the game (surpassed only by the Cormorant; with Supernova, the Rhino and the Gator Custom). While very useful to traders, the lack of maneuverability in combat may make it unappealing to some adventurers, though adding steering nozzles can easily compensate. Trading a small amount of cargo space for two primary weapon slots in comparison to the Cormorant, the Anaan is well-suited for those who want to make large sums of money through trading goods, but cannot afford to lose combat effectiveness.

If the Valkyrie add-on was purchased, auto turrets such as Berger AGT 20mm, HH-AT "Archimedes" or Skuld AT XR, along with decent primary, secondary weapons and AB-4 "Octopus" tractor beam, Anaans can be a decent raider/looter. However, even with all the upgrades, equipment and weaponry, it will not last against groups of heavily armed pirates at later stages. Despite its flaws, the Anaan allows you to earn cash quickly by doing missions and grabbing and selling loot, which, overall, makes purchasing ultimate ship and weapons less tedious.

Trivia

• When the player hires wingmen with Anaans, they will always have Vossk Organs and can be EMPed for their cargo. Therefore, it would be advisable to seek Terran wingmen. A way to get rid of wingmen quickly to get more is to bring them into enemy space or destroy them when not in their faction's territory.
• The Anaan is used as the Terran Bomber MK. I in Galaxy on Fire: Alliances.
• The Anaan is the only ship currently in Terran Fleet to have double letters together.
